BIG Question #1: What is Differentiated Instruction?
Differentiated instruction acknowledges that no two thinkers are alike. Unlike Mr. Boring, Mr. Awesome is creating a classroom where the students are part of the content. Students become active participants in the lesson rather than passive receptors. Differentiated instructional Theorists contest that diverse instructional methods and active participation are the best way for a person to learn anything.
